Greg Di Loreto, KYOSHI

Greg has 40 years of experience in the martial arts and holds Godan (5th-degree black belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. He has been leading ZMAINW tirelessly for almost 20 years and has contributed much to the growth and maturity of everyone whom he has trained.

James Swartwood, SHODOIN

James has 18 years of experience in the martial arts and holds Yondan (4th-degree black belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. He has studied under multiple instructors outside of ZMA since 2016 and is recognized as a black belt by the JFANW group. He is always happy to share to his passion for the martial arts with others.

Troy Swartwood, SHODOIN

Troy joined Greg's class with his five-year-old son, James, at the beginning of 2006. With 18 years of experience, he holds Nidan (2nd-degree black belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. He has been an amazing influence on the school throughout the years and continues to find joy in the martial arts, always ready to learn more.

Paul Vahey, SHODOIN

Paul joined Greg's class in 2010 and has been a pillar in the class in the 14 years since. He holds Nidan (2nd-degree black belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. He brings great thought and care into his practice. He is balances rigorous training with critical thought and has inspired everyone around him to do the same.

Gianna Di Loreto

Gianna is a teaching assistant in the class. She holds a 1st Kyū (3rd-degree brown belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. She is also an accomplished dancer at the All That Dance studio.

Chad Young

Chad is a teaching assistant in the class. He holds a 1st Kyū (3rd-degree brown belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. He is an example of true excellence and dedication, and inspires everyone around him to be their best selves.

Michelle Young

Michelle is a teaching assistant in the class. She holds a 2nd Kyū (2nd-degree brown belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. She is also a wellness practice instructor outside of ZMA and regularly leads the class through mindfulness exercises.

Becca Price

Becca is a teaching assistant in the class. She holds a 2nd Kyū (2nd-degree brown belt) in the Zen Martial Arts system. She is an accomplished professor at the University of Washington, Bothell, and brings a depth of understanding wherever she goes.
